Give Amore’s 12th well project was completed in April 2018, and the community is excited to draw from it. Despite challenges that delayed its timely completion, the sinking process went on smoothly and the yield is left for the community to enjoy.
Our wells are dug by hand, a process that involves a digger to sink with the excavation until the water table is hit. Therefore, when the rains came, our courageous workers took precautionary measures beforehand to avert any tragedies tagged to the heavy rains from impacting the project negatively. They took days off until they were certain there were no collapse indicators to the well.
The well is in Daisy, Valary and Wallace’s village, a very remote location which holds a dense population of families that will greatly benefit from its water.
