Five days into the New Year of 2018, amidst all the celebrations and toasting to 2018, a community in a remote village in Ebulechia, Kakamega in Western Kenya was receiving a clean safe water well, one of the very few in the village.

The well is situated at Brenda’s home and yards from her is Shirleen’s family and both are the direct caretaker beneficiaries from the project.

Blessed by a junction of three main village foot paths crisscrossing not far from it, the well is strategically placed to effectively serve the community’s population and further extend its cool waters to visitors using the tracks to neighboring villages.
