December 2020 Letters to sponsors
SEPTEMBER 21, 2019
We spoke with Valary’s mom today and learned that her family has moved back to the land her husband left to her when he passed. His family is trying to fight Valary’s mom for this land and it is causing many problems. Prayers are requested for this situation and that her mom would be able to receive the title of the land from the Kenyan government.
It was reported that Valary is doing very well in school. Her brother Wallace is not in school, but at home. They would love to receive a college scholarship for Wallace.

update 2017
Valary is in the 12th grade for the 2017 school year at Lubinu Girls High School.
Valary is a partial orphan. Raised by a single mother, Valary and her siblings, Wallace and Daisy, have grown to command their own niche in a world that once seemed hopeless and cruel. At 17, Valary exudes great potential of rising above her peers in school all thanks to her hardworking and disciplined nature.
Valery joined our sponsorship program in 2009 while in fourth grade and has incredibly benefitted from our home-based and school sponsorship programs.
