CHRISTMAS 2021 PORTRAITS IN NEW CLOTHES
Joy and abundance filled the air this Christmas season at our resource center in Kenya as Give Amore spread love through gifts, teaching and celebration of the eminent birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Our children had the time of their life, some indulging in their favorite meals and beverages, something that isn’t as common in their homes and daily routines. Topping the list of gifts this time and every other year was new clothes for all our sponsored children, a tradition so popular in the African culture, as well as extra food and toiletries.

Gladys is in the 11th grade for the 2017 school year at Shikomari high school. Gladys lives with her mother Elder Luta who runs a small business.
The eight years we have known Gladys are full of remarkable experiences and blessings of watching a strong intelligent teenager grow out of the little girl we used to know. Her energy in song, dance and poem recitation drew us to her and ever since she has never disappointed in all that is on her plate.
Raised by a single mother, 16 year old Gladys spends most of her free time helping her mother out with household chores; just to make sure her mother gets a break from all the engaging chores she does when she is off in school.
