Frida is taking Business Administration course and she will be seating for her last exams in April!

update 2017

Frida graduated HS in 2016 from Esokone secondary school. Frida lives with her 92 year-old grandmother along with her five siblings. She is a total orphan but in some way exuded the urge to stick in school despite the many times she was sent away for the lack of school fees.

Despite being a student, she took over her mother’s role and now does the best she can to take care of her siblings and her aged grandmother who is frequently ill. She is determined to excel in her studies and be a role model to the rest of her siblings.  

2015 update

Fridah’s leadership quality is evident everywhere she walks into, always self-driven to tackle tasks and an example to others.

She is eighteen years old and in tenth grade. She reflects on the many times she leads her peers in singing sessions and pinpoints how she loves singing and reading out loud.

“I still haven’t gotten over what God did to my family last Christmas and I am thankful and strive to be just like him!” she affirms while staring into space.

Though she lacks novels, shoe polish, fuel for reading at night, revision books, a calculator and sanitary pads, she says she feels the warmth of love Amore Ministries has and is giving her.

“I want to grow up into a Lab technician.” She confirms.
