JULY 2020 DISTRIBUTION

Christine picked up supplies for Shaddy, Everline and Grace

april 2020

Due to Corona virus related restrictions, our usual congregation at the Give Amore center was replaced with our team transporting supplies to the homes of the beneficiaries for our April Distribution.

In addition to the food and toiletries we typically issue, this time there was an augmentation of hand washing stations, extra food and soap to supplement their provisions during these lean moments and help curb the spread of the virus in case of an outbreak in the remote rural areas.

Pictured is Everlyn’s aunt and guardian, Christian.

2017 update

Everyone is in the 9th grade for 2017 school year at Ekonyero Primary School.

Everlyne lives with her sister, Grace (who is also in our program) and with her Aunt Christine who is a single mother of two. Christine has a daughter in high school that we help with her high school fees and has an extremely special needs son, Shadrack. He was born with severe cerebral palsy. Everlyne and Grace help care for him in the evenings when Christine goes into town to sell her Samosas (fried dough stuffed with vegetables) in order to support her family. Christine has been in our program for many years and is a sweet, hard working, patient young lady who is so thankful for our program that has allowed her to eat and go to school consistently. She’s very excited to enter high school!
