Due to Corona virus related restrictions, our usual congregation at the Give Amore center was replaced with our team transporting supplies to the homes of the beneficiaries for our April Distribution.
In addition to the food and toiletries we typically issue, this time there was an augmentation of hand washing stations, extra food and soap to supplement their provisions during these lean moments and help curb the spread of the virus in case of an outbreak in the remote rural areas.
SEPTEMBER 19, 2019
Evans left for college today and will be studying Electrical Engineering. We were glad to catch a minute with him at the Give Amore offices to wish him well on his studies! We loved seeing his brother Derek and sister in law Carolyne (with baby Stephen)!
Fellow Give Amore Graduate Lydia will also be joining Electrical Engineering school with Evans.

Well #2 - originally constructed in May 2016 - Give Amore’s well building team completed renovations to deepen the well an additional 5 feet so that it flows freely in the dry months.

End Term Position: taking final exams
2019 grade: Graduating High School!
september 19, 2018 home visit
The team visited Evans home and found him coming home from school.
He is preparing to seat for his final exam at Eshibeye Secondary School. He is so determined to pass so he can receive a government scholarship to college. We all pray to God to support him and mold him into as a better person in the society.
He was also healthy strong and we were happy to find his goat has had twin kids.

UPDATE 2017
Evans is in the 11th grade for the 2017 school year at Eshibeye Secondary School. Evans stays with his mother, Everlyn Anyona, who is also a peasant farmer. Emanating from a poor family, for a long time he has had school fees challenges with most of the time having to stay home due to lack of the precious school requirement.
He however kept his grades high and now that he is part of the Give Amore family, his grades are even higher. He is an observant collected young man and hopes to be a lawyer someday.
