Christmas 2021 Portraits in new clothes
Joy and abundance filled the air this Christmas season at our resource center in Kenya as Give Amore spread love through gifts, teaching and celebration of the eminent birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Our children had the time of their life, some indulging in their favorite meals and beverages, something that isn’t as common in their homes and daily routines. Topping the list of gifts this time and every other year was new clothes for all our sponsored children, a tradition so popular in the African culture, as well as extra food and toiletries.

2021 January Back to School gifts
With the dawn of the New Year, it is back to school for all learners in Kenya and despite the raging pandemic world over, the government has carefully crafted a return to school plan to help protect the students against Covid 19 both while at home and school.
Our sponsored children are excited to resume learning after months of staying home due to the global pandemic that led to all schools closing indefinitely. Also given that Kenya has no homeschooling plan in its education system, there is no way she could have kept up with her syllabus.
Armed with books, stationery, full school uniform, and more, students are ecstatic and eager to go back to school and see their peers.

2017 UPDATE
Emily is in the 9th grade for 2017 school year at Nderema primary school.
Born in one the poorest neighborhoods in her village, Emily had the bitter pie slices life had to offer. Following the demise of his father, the main provider of the family, Emily had to work for pay in people’s farms in a bid to supplement her mother’s income gained from selling sugarcane and boiled corn in the village market.
When we found her, school to her was a luxury and opted to drop out so as to lessen the burden her mother had. She was excited to go back to school when we offered her the chance and commentary from her teachers applauds the help she is getting even at home.
