FEBRUARY 2024
December, 2022 Christmas Party Distribution
Christmas came early to our brothers and sisters in Kenya and once again everything was done to tradition just like the pre pandemic years. Every child received new clothes, shoes as well as extra food and toiletries supplies. Among other special gifts were a cow, goat and chicken for select families.
To top it all off, everyone was treated to an end year feast with distinguished Kenyan delicacies served including masala rice, chapatti, deep fried chicken, corn bread and so much more. Further the congregation was filled with joy of getting together in celebration of the end of an eventful yet successful year.
Christmas means so much to many children and adults alike across the globe and as witnessed, Santa managed once again to put a smile on every child's face courtesy of your generous thoughtful giving. It is a season of neighborliness and indeed you all set the bar so high. Happy Christmas!
APRIL 23, 2022 DISTRIBUTION
It’s back to school for Students in Kenya and our sponsored children are well equipped with the necessities to face the learning period ahead of them. Each student received the required stationery and text books as well as their regular supply of food and toiletries.
With all their school fees paid fully up front, all our sponsored children will have all the time to focus on their studies without distractions. Through Education we seek to harness our children’s chances at a better tomorrow as well as achieve a ripple effect of change throughout the community through these precious ambassadors.
We wish them all the best in their pursuit of education.
Christmas 2021 Portraits in new clothes
Joy and abundance filled the air this Christmas season at our resource center in Kenya as Give Amore spread love through gifts, teaching and celebration of the eminent birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Our children had the time of their life, some indulging in their favorite meals and beverages, something that isn’t as common in their homes and daily routines. Topping the list of gifts this time and every other year was new clothes for all our sponsored children, a tradition so popular in the African culture, as well as extra food and toiletries.

april 2020
Due to Corona virus related restrictions, our usual congregation at the Give Amore center was replaced with our team transporting supplies to the homes of the beneficiaries for our April Distribution.
In addition to the food and toiletries we typically issue, this time there was an augmentation of hand washing stations, extra food and soap to supplement their provisions during these lean moments and help curb the spread of the virus in case of an outbreak in the remote rural areas.

Our team met Duncan while visiting his brother Derrick’s family at their home. Derrick’s mother Everline cares for Duncan, and three other grandchildren - Jimmy, Thomas and Gladys. We added all four children to our sponsorship program after meeting them at this same visit. Derrick’s children - Michelle, Michael and Jayden have been members of our sponsorship program for some time, as Derrick is a former employer of TGD and his family is very near and dear to our hearts. His wife Carolyne had just given birth to a new baby boy - Stephen Rivers - on June 9th, and our team LOVED getting some newborn baby snuggles.
Duncan is 13 and in the 7th grade at St. Birds and and Barbara Academy. He was recently sent home from school due to missing school fees. Our team was able to provide him with the mere $30 he needed to return to school caught up.
Well #2 completed by Give Amore in May, 2016 is not flowing strongly. The team believes the well needs deepening and will determine how much the renovation will cost.
