APRIL 2020

Due to Corona virus related restrictions, our usual congregation at the Give Amore center was replaced with our team transporting supplies to the homes of the beneficiaries.

In addition to the food and toiletries we typically issue, this time there was an augmentation of hand washing stations, extra food and soap to supplement their provisions during these lean moments and help curb the spread of the virus in case of an outbreak in the remote rural areas.

2017 update

Brian is 11 years old and in the 5th grade at Ebulechia Primary School. He is a total orphan who resides with his poor grandmother in Ebulechia village.  His grandmother works in other people’s farms in a bid to provide for the family, a venture so uncertain of returns and savings.  Their deplorable life conditions left little Brian suffering from malnutrition and recurrent skin infection conditions. Further, with little to eat, he hardly went to school since he was weak and wasted.  Thank God, he is now in the 5th grade, looking strong and healthy again under Give Amore’s sponsorship facet.

2015 update

Brian is ten years old, peaceful, obedient and easily tickled. However despite his peaceful personality, he has woes with recurrent fungal infections on his head. Only recently also he had stomach pains and headache but was rushed for medical attention and now he is feeling better.

At third grade, Brian has a thing for mathematics and science but struggles with learning Swahili. Also he plays soccer and loves modeling and hopes all these will propel him to be the engineer he so wants to become.

Despite all the setbacks he encounters like lack of enough food and books to read, he is thankful he is in school and hopes to be the most educated in his family.
