jigger clinic february 9, 2019

Out team covered about 50 children from the surrounding schools within Shibuli community. We started with Ebuchinga primarily, moved to Emulele primary before finishing with Cornerstone school.

Many children are infected with jiggers and this makes it hard for them to learn at school. There was one incident where a boy known as Dishon had jiggers all over his feet and fingers. We don't know how he writes when in such a condition. It was painful to those infected but with hopes of bringing a healing to them.

Some of the children especially those in baby class at Ebuchinga primary and Emulele are sitting on the floor when learning and this  increases the infection. How we pray they get baby seats.

We did not manage to treat the elderly but will plan another time for them. We still have many cases.
